Hi I’m Debbie and I own Doggie Day Spa.
I have been a respiratory therapist for 31 years. I worked as a medical sales representative for 17 years also. I so wanted to get out of the corporate world.
So I started Doggy Day Spa 8 years ago in the Harmony and Union Grove area. I was certified as a groomer in 2019.
Before that I did mobile grooming with a dear friend who owns “Dogs and Suds" in the Lake Norman Area. Joan is a master groomer and she taught me to groom. I have trained many amazing young ladies to be groomers as well.
My love and passion is for animals, especially dogs. My love for dogs started when I was a young kid. My father had many hunting dogs and bred Spaniels. This is my dream, it's not just a job to me, it's a passion. Grooming dogs is my life and what I love.

Hey there, I'm Charlie!
I am the Spa manager and my life passion is furry faces and happy tails! I currently have three years of hands on and online school experience with dogs.
Ever since I was a little lady I have always loved working with pets because every furry friend deserves love. My favorite part about grooming is connecting with the dogs and expressing my passions in a artistic way. I have one lovely pup of my own, Miss Chessy, my best girl. I have two beautiful nieces who I love so dearly, and the best family a girl could ask for.
I strive to work hard and live a positive lifestyle always. I believe there is no job to big or to small, I am willing to do whatever it takes to help make any pet feel and look their best. This is my dream job, I am currently in the works of becoming a certified Dog Groomer. Grooming has changed my life and I can't wait to see where this amazing journey takes me.

Hi, I'm Morgan.
I have always had a passion for animals, particularly dogs since I was a little girl. Growing up I had two dogs that made me fall in love. I also rode and worked with horses. After doing time in the Army, I was medically discharged and went straight into working with dogs. I worked in dog kennels while going to school for dog training. I completed school at Highland K9 Training LLC and I'm a Certified Master Dog Trainer.
I got into grooming because I wanted to work with dogs on a creative level. I'm interested in creative grooming and I am attending Lake Norman Grooming Academy this summer and fall to pursue my certifications in Dog Grooming Technician and Dog Groomer. I am a married mother to a little boy, three dogs, two cats, two bunnies. I also enjoy working with my small hobby farm and still ride horses too! My love for all animals extends far and wide.

Hi, I'm Alyssa.
Since I was a little girl I have always loved animals, my life goal is to become a dog groomer. I've been working since I was 15 years old I have many years of customer experience. I majored in animal science from middle school through high school, I am so excited to learn new skills in the grooming industry.
Growing up all animals have bonded with me in so many ways, but now I've come to know my calling is with dogs. I have 3 years of dog-sitting experience and have grown up with many different dog breeds. I have come to find that every pet i have encountered has bonded with me. I love giving out love to all pets that come my way.
To me, I value elevating a dog's experience and making your pet's fur, fluff, and fabulous! I am currently a groomer in training and I love every second of this job. I hope to make a change in the grooming industry and give pets the love they deserve.
